Spartan women had very different lifestyles. We will teach you about how women learned, what their freedom and education was like. We will also teach you about their roles, responsibilities, lifestyle, income, and their family roles. Women also had many roles and responsibilities. Some included to cook and clean. They also had to make clothes for their families and themselves. To meet this responsibility, they were involved in sports such as, javelin-throwing, wrestling, singing and dancing. The number 1 most important role and responsibility of a Spartan women was to bear strong children to serve Sparta. Women had more rights than other places in Greece. They were allowed to own households. Women were also expected to attend school. There are many more rights to learn about.
